About Me

About me? I’m a craftsman; I like to create. I grew up in Toronto. I now live in the hamlet of Ceylon, Ontario with my wife, our four children, and a black dog named Rowen. My grandfather influenced my early work; he introduced me to the joys of walking in the woods – wood working – working with my hands. I think about him everyday. After four years of fooling around with metal, I enrolled in the artisan blacksmith program at Haliburton school of the arts. It was fun, inspirational, physically exhausting.  Most importantly, it helped to refine my work to the quality that it is now.
